The Scott Vision AMS Silicone is offered in 3 different sizes and will accommodate a wide range of facial shapes and sizes. The facemasks are positive pressure and feature a Silicone outer mask and a TPE ori-nasal inner mask. The facemask visor is multi curvature and made of a scratch and impact resistant polycarbonate material with a flame-retardant coating and provides excellent panoramic vision. The visor is held in place by two U-shaped clamps. The mask allows the wearer to wear integrated spectacle frames, without compromising the facemask seal. The facemask is available with either a five-point fully adjustable neoprene strap style harness or a two-point adjustable polyester net style harnesses.

The facemask is a true dual use facemask with an exhale valve that can operate in a true negative pressure mode for use with filters and then when a DV is attached via a bayonet adaptor it switches automatically to a positive pressure exhale valve. This is all done via the front fitting of the facemask. An option of an additional right quick-fit port is available to take a communications interface if required. A speech diaphragm is mounted at the left of the mask to offer unimpeded speech transmission. Variants are also available with an ESA demand valve fitting in place of the standard bayonet adaptor. The Vision AMS is specifically designed for use with the Scott range of breathing apparatus from the Professional Fire Fighting SCBA through to the Airline and escape breathing apparatus range. In conjunction with Scott breathing apparatus it is suitable for providing respiratory protection for an IDLH environment. It can also be used with the full range of Scott Din 40 filters.
