The Casella Dust Detective Kit is a real-time area monitoring equipment that can be used in surveys. It can be used for air sampling in the environment, site compliance surveys, and static workplace monitoring.

Comprising of an Apex2 air sampling pump and Microdust Pro real-time dust monitor, the Dust Detective is perfect for short-term static monitoring on any site. You can always use the equipment independently to one another too to make the most of your investment!

The handheld monitors within (the Microdust Pro and the Apex2) are protected by the ruggerized casing. The Apex2 is a personal air sampling pump and the Microdust Pro is a real-time dust metre. The installation permits static air samples to be taken on site when the units are used in conjunction with the Dust Detective Enclosure. The enclosure has an IP65 rating, which means it is completely weatherproof.

The air sample is drawn into the enclosure using size selective filters (if required), and gravimetric samples can then be taken for weighing or further analysis. There is no need for an external power supply because the internal dry cell battery will last up to 13 hours. Rugged enclosure with PM10, PM2.5, and respirable PUF filters with built-in size selective adaptor is included in the CEL-712 Dust Detective Kit.
