The SharpEye 40/40C-L4B, a dual spectrum UV/IR flame detector, provides fast detection of hydrocarbon-based fuel and gas fires in under five seconds.
The Spectrex SharpEye 40/40C-L4B UV/IR flame detector is capable of detection Hydrocarbon fuel and gas flames only and responds in typically under 5 seconds. The detector work with an integrated UV and optical IR sensor in the 4.5 micron band for hydrocarbon flame detection only. This allows for a higher false alarm immunity and greater detection capabilities than other regular UV/IR models on the market.
