The SharpEye™ 20/20Q QuadSense Flame Detector is part of the leading, next-generation SharpEye 20/20 series.
The flame detector uses proven triple infrared (IR3) technology and showcases a fast and reliable hydrocarbon fires detection range spanning up to 150 ft. (45 m), paired with unmatched reliability and immunity to false alarms.
The Spectrex SharpEye 20/20-Q is a high performance and high reliable Non-EX IR3 flame detector available in an aluminium housing.
This flame detector combines performance with affordability and therefore offers great value for money.
The Spectrex SharpEye 20/20-Q is EN-54-10 and FM performance approved and will soon be available in different enclosure material and with additional approvals.
The Spectrex SharpEye 20/20-Q offers one of the highest false alarm immunities in the non-EX range of flame detectors while being capable of detecting 0,1 m2 hydrocarbon fuel and gas fires up to 45 meters distance. This performance is achieved by placing all infra-red sensors in the invisible spectrum of a fire at the 4-5 micron band. With FM performance approvals on more than 10 substances this flame detector is keeping a SharpEye on your safety in many application!
At the heart of the Spectrex SharpEye 20/20-Q lies a remarkable new Quad Sense IR technology. Unlike conventional flame detectors that use single or dual-wavelength IR or UV or UV/IR sensors, this system integrates four infrared sensors, which enable it to detect fires with unparalleled precision and sensitivity. By zooming in on the 4-5 micron spectral band, the detector optimises its response to the characteristic emissions of various hydrocarbon-based fires, in particular hot CO2 in the 4.3 micron band.
Based on its technology, design, reliability and performance, the Spectrex SharpEye 20/20-Q is now the preferred flame detector for applications like waste handling facilities, offshore substations, machinery spaces, conveyor belt protection, aircraft hangars and many others.
Spectrex 20/20-Q QuadSense Flame Detector – integrating four infrared (IR) sensors to further improve differentiation of flame sources from non-flame background radiation.
