The Ultra Fast Spectrex SharpEye 40/40D-L4B UV/IR flame detector for detection of hydrocarbon flames in the 4.5 micron band is part of the Next generation SharpEye 40/40 series.
The Ultra Fast Spectrex SharpEye 40/40D is a UV/IR flame detector that responds to flash fires in under 20 msec. The units works with an integrated UV and optical IR sensor in the 4.5 micron band for hydrocarbon flame detection only. This allows for a higher false alarm immunity compared to other regular UV/IR models on the market and with this proven record of false alarm immunity this detector keeps a SharpEye on your Safety!
