Cole-Parmer® StuartTM mWater Stills - WS-200A-4, WS-200AD-4 & WS-200A-8
The cabinet-style water stills are available in 3 models for single or double distillation of water. The high-quality borosilicate glassware, coupled with silica sheathed heaters, produces pyrogen-free distillate from virtually any raw water supply. The unique condenser ensures a ready-to-use cold distilled water supply. The design of the units ensures maximum energy efficiency, while the built-in “clean” function enables easy cleaning without the need for dismantling the glassware. The flow-sensor can detect reduction in the flow of cooling water and adjust the stills to run normally even with a low-pressure water supply, protect the units from overheating and damage. These water stills are simple and safe to assemble; both the acrylic safety screen and the cabinet lid can be removed for easy access to the glassware components.
WS-200A-4
Operated from the laboratory bench or wall mounted to save space. Produces 4 L of single-distilled water per hour.
WS-200A-8
Ideal for larger laboratories; the glassware is enclosed in the cabinet and the unit can also be operated from the laboratory bench or be wall mounted to save space. Produces 8 L of single-distilled water per hour.
WS-200AD-4
Suitable for producing high purity double-distilled water. The first distillation step is carried out in a glassware set mounted at the front of the cabinet, which can be easily accessed for descaling. The water is then fed into a second set of glassware at the rear of the device and distilled for a second time. Water level sensors to ensure the heater is only activated when there is enough water in the boiler. Produces 4 L of higher purity double-distilled or 8 L of single-distilled water per hour.

NB: Conductivity and resistivity are affected by the presence of dissolved carbon dioxide in water. All figures given are based on tests carried out free from carbon dioxide at 20°C.
