Honeywell Analytics have recently released firmware version 50D for the Honeywell BW MicroClip XL and BW MicroClip X3 models. Firmware 50D is available for customers to download on the Downloads page of the Honeywell Analytics website as well as through their Safety Suite software platform.
The Firmware 50D has also been implemented in manufacturing and will ship with all new BW MicroClip units.
The improvements include a battery temperature monitoring solution. If the temperature is too high or low whilst charging the device will cease to charge to protect the battery and circuitry until the temperature returns to normal levels.
